Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Mohamed Ali Abdillahi, a 28-year-old male requesting specialist evaluation for severe bilateral visual impairment.
I have a history of pathologic myopia and have recently been diagnosed with bilateral central corneal opacities, exotropia, and amblyopia (left eye). My vision is not adequately correctable with spectacles. OCT imaging demonstrates preserved macular architecture in both eyes.
My treating ophthalmologist has recommended advanced corneal imaging, contact lens trial (RGP or scleral lenses), and evaluation for possible corneal transplantation (DALK or PKP), with later consideration of strabismus management.
I respectfully request your assessment and advice regarding further investigations and potential treatment options.
